Arrived (Nov 3)
In San Fran, called the Captain of the boat. He knows I'm in town. I'm still undecided as to what the situation is going to be, so I figure first step, a trial day on the boat. Before catching the ferry to the harbour, i stop at this fast food restaurant for a final snack and beer, have a chat with a friendly employee of the place, get myself mentally prepped for this new adventure, and its time to run to catch the ferry and see whats to come.
After the Arrival (Nov 5)
So its the second morning in the harbour. The boat is recieving its finishing touche and we should be off for the first small hop soon. Today I plan to study sialing terms and parts of the boat, its a completly new thing for me, this sailing. And its a beautiful sunny day here, why not sit on the dock and enjoy it.
